Welcome to Aoba’s Summer Program—your opportunity to experience Aoba’s global education firsthand!
Aoba offers distinctive and engaging summer programs for children aged 4 through high school, designed to help students learn in a relaxed yet stimulating environment. In Tokyo, external students are welcome to join programs at our two campuses—Hikarigaoka and Bunkyo. In addition, we are launching a special summer school program at our soon-to-open campus in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, giving families the chance to experience the school even before its official opening.
At Hikarigaoka campuses, students learn through Aoba’s inquiry cycle, exploring subjects in English such as art (painting, crafts, ceramics), sports (including swimming), science, mathematics, and music (instrumental performance). On selected days, the Hikarigaoka campus will also host a special “Learn Magic from a Professional Magician” week!
At the Bunkyo campus, students can participate in an immersive Musical Theater Program. Over 12 days, they will experience the full musical production process in English—from auditions and vocal training to choreography and final performance. In addition to strengthening English skills, students develop creativity, teamwork, and perseverance.
We also offer enriching after-school programs, including English enrichment lessons, ball sports, handbells, and more. Parents are warmly welcome to observe.

AOBA Summer School 2026 Inquiry and Hands on Activities Aoba’s Summer Program delivers inquiry-based learning built on our unique inquiry cycle: Preparing to Learn → Building Skills and Knowledge → Deep Inquiry → Applying New Understanding. Students engage across English, Japanese, art, music, and sports (including swimming), developing confidence in public speaking and strengthening creative reading and writing skills. Through this cross-disciplinary approach, they also naturally cultivate social awareness aligned with the SDGs and grow toward the attributes of the IB Learner Profile. In mid-July, students will participate in a special program led by a professional magician. Through magic tricks and juggling, they enhance concentration, experience a strong sense of accomplishment, and build communication skills in an engaging and memorable way. In addition to English communication enhancement classes, we provide grade-level sports development programs such as basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and badminton.
