For children returning to Japan during long vacations, the Summer School is not only an opportunity to expand their learning but also a chance to explore future school options. This program, offered by international schools in Japan, is packed with activities that promote global perspectives while learning in a fun environment. It provides an excellent opportunity to further improve English communication skills and deepen cross-cultural understanding, ensuring a truly special experience for your child!
This year, we’re introducing a selection of international schools carefully chosen by the “Returnee Convenience Guide.” If you’re interested in a particular school, be sure to inquire early!
Popular programs often fill up quickly once detailed information is released, so we recommend checking early.
A chance to experience inquiry-based learning in a global educational environment!
Aoba’s Summer School offers a hands-on experience of global education! Targeting children from 4 years old (preschool) to high school students, the program focuses on student-driven inquiry and experiential learning. Through the educational program, students will learn subjects such as art (painting, crafts, pottery, etc.), sports (including swimming), science, math, and music (instrumental performance) in English. On specific days, parents can also observe! As a special event, there will be a session on AI-based problem-solving led by graduates from Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for students in grade 6 and above. Additionally, the after-school program offers enriching activities such as team sports, English enhancement lessons, and instrument lessons.
